Establish an automation to execute Apple Shortcuts daily

Creating a shortcut and running it manually is just the beginning. Like myself, you probably prefer having Notes (or other automations) prepared without needing to interact directly with the Shortcut.

This short article will guide you on how to schedule an Apple Shortcut to run automatically.

1. Launch the Shortcuts application and tap on the Automation icon at the bottom of the page.
2. Initiate a new Automation by tapping the plus button in the top-right corner of the page.
3. Select the "Time of Day" option to continue or choose from the list of available settings if they meet your needs.
4. Choose your preferred time for the automation; I set mine for 6 am to ensure the note is ready upon waking.

5. Simply select the Shortcut you’ve created. And that’s it – we’re done!
You’re now equipped to leverage and enjoy the convenience of Shortcut automation. Feel free to craft and share new, useful Shortcuts.
